We cannot recommend John and his entire team enough. They were so incredible and flexible with the awful weather they needed to work with while prepping the food. His team was so friendly and helped to calm some of my nerves before walking down the aisle, as they were inside the reception hall prepping for dinner. The food was on time and everything was delicious. Even my super Italian Aunt, who is a phenomenal cook, asked for his contact information because she was so blown away by how delicious everything was. And I’m so happy because we had leftovers that John and the team packed up for us to take home! We got so many compliments about the food and people appreciated the dietary modifications that John was able to make!

My company hired John and his team for an employee appreciation event for 250 people in August. Leading up to the date of the event, John was easy to work with, responsive, and his prices can't be beat. On the day of the event, we were facing severe thunderstorms and a tornado warning. However, John and his team arrived just as the skies cleared, quickly got their equipment set up and immediately began cooking. Other staff set up the buffet tables and lines inside ensuring we'd have smooth sailing when the employees arrived and not end up with a huge bottleneck for food. Everything went GREAT! Lines moved super quickly, food was hot and delicious, and there were options for all of our eaters with special dietary restrictions and allergies. We ended up with a good amount of leftovers, which employees were thrilled to pack up and bring home to share with their families. Great food, professional service, fantastic execution - incredible value. Highly recommend John and the Tailgate Gourmet team for any event!
